The Bridge is a 2006 documentary film by Eric Steel that consists of the results of one year’s filming of the Golden Gate Bridge in 2004. What makes this film so interesting is because it captured a number of suicides in addition to interviews of family and friends of some of the identified people who had jumped off the bridge. I have not seen the movie myself, but it sounds rather interesting that something like this could be captured on film.

Sidenote: According to Bombippy.com, what most people don’t know is that he and his film crew prevented 6 people from jumping off the bridge.

Whenever they suspected someone might jump, they called the police. unfortunately 23 people gave little to no warning that they were about to jump

If you love documentaries, then you have to visit MediaThatMattersFest.org. This website contains over 100 short real life films that tackle topics that  reach and relate to a plethora of audiences. One film that I have recently watched is called “America for Dummies” and it addresses our youth’s ignorance on social issues in America and so much more.
